I've noticed that a large part of the Usonia article is just copied verbatim from Templin's video on the faction. I think it'd be easier to just post the video, like the other articles.
What's on your mind?
After the launch of Op. Eagle on the 27th, I think we should all get ready for a huge editing spree. Other members of the community have compiled whole lists for the the other factions, so I believe it is high time we get together, and update all unit pages on this wiki for the average player.
Since the Templin Institute's videos on the factions of Iron Harvest were commissioned by King Art and the original artist, would it be too much to ask if they could be posted to the wiki? If not, I understand, but the information in the videos is technically canon.
im can add special Polish letters to the names of Polańskich mechs?
Hi, everyone! My name is ReverieCode, and I'm a Wiki Representative from Fandom.
I wanted to let you know I've just been assigned to the Iron Harvest Wiki, to be your point of contact with Fandom if the wiki is ever in need of assistance. I'm taking over from your previous Wiki Manager due to some reorganization going on with Fandom's teams (more information can be found in this post).
If you experience any technical issues, need a feature/extension enabled, or have any other questions (about templates, wiki design, etc.), feel free to drop me a message. I'm pleased to be here, and hope I can be of help :)
Hello everyone. I just got the game and so did some friends. Why on multiplayer is my team mate say Green on my skin (His banner/Team Colour)
So on my screen i am Red he is Green. But on his screen i am Green and he is blue
So when we go into a game i think he is the blue icons on the map but he is actually Green.
So one game my screen i was Red he was Blue, but in the game to him i was Blue and to me he was Green
Basically why are the colours not the same we see for one another?
Units like weapon systems, medics, engineers, flamethrowers, machine gunners, anti-armor gunners, all have the same stats, damage, abilities, etc regardless of their faction. The only real differences are aesthetic; uniforms, or in the cases of a few units only one faction can actively train them. I suggest we consolidate each to a single page with the info box just being able tab through the three images.
Who would I talk to about consolidating these and helping to cut down on quite a number of pages?
Or would you guys say it's not necessary to do this? I'd like to hear thoughts.
Here's my reasoning:
A) Tesla clearly knew about Fenris at this point and had already warned the Tsar about an attempt on his life. Therefore, he would know in advance to send forces to try and protect the Tsar. Given that we see loads of Setacs and Cuvars at the Factory, he definitely has forces to spare.
B) The advanced units aren't shown actually attacking the Palace itself, just Zubov and his forces outside. I'd say then that they're there to kill anyone trying getting into the Palace since Tesla does not seem to know who exactly is with Fenris and his forces would take no chances.
C) If they were Fenris units, why would Zubov be interested in being able to capture that one Setac that didn't self-destruct? After all, the only time we see definitely see Fenris field anything resembling Tesla's tech is Janek's exosuit, which Heinrich describes as "Nikola's tech thrown together by a bunch of monkeys." They didn't even seem to have that suit until after they capture that Setac, which they likely reverse-engineered to make the exosuit at Zubov's lab. If that is the best that Fenris can build, then I doubt they could produce a large number of the Setacs and Cuvars we see attacking the palace.
D) I don't think they would be AS keen to self-destruct if they were just Fenris units, give how rightfully paranoid Tesla is. Tesla made even his friends Heinrich and Piotr promise to not be taken alive.
Would love to hear thoughts on this.
Edit: Just replayed that particular level and although I've played it a number of times I just now heard the piece of dialogue where they mention "him" getting involved, so it would seem these are indeed Tesla's troops arriving to try and stop the coup.
Alright, so I've been looking through the wiki a lot since the game launched, and a ton of the pages are messed up in some way or are just plain outdated from what I assume is early Beta or even Alpha content when the game has been fully released. We need to fix this for the players of Iron Harvest who may want and easy source for the strength, lore, and gameplay features of mechs and factions.
