The Hashashin are elite warriors of the Free Tribes of Arabia skilled in taking out unaware targets with blades and mini-grenades. They have the passive ability to Lie in Wait, which grants the unit the ability to become invisible to enemies when the Hashashin stand still. They can only become camouflaged if there are no enemy units nearby.
While highly vulnerable to attack due to being melee-only apart from their mini-grenades (and completely unarmored), Hashashin are shockingly dangerous in melee. Against unarmored infantry squads, a full-health Hashashin squad will win in melee every time even if they take some damage on the way in, and they can fight a few squads before starting to falter - usually they will kill a soldier model with two or even one strikes, though there are only three Hashashin per unit while most infantry squads come in fives. Squads they fight will also be unable to fight anything else or fire ranged attacks, so a carefully deployed Hashashin team can take a particularly dangerous unit out of the fight even if they don't kill it right away.
The Hashashin's armor damage is also somewhat deceptive - Hashashin can handle the otherwise very dangerous Eisenhans exosuit troops quite well, provided they fight them one-on-one. It is only against Mechs where the Hashashin can truly do nothing.
