Viktor is a young mech squadron commander in the Rusviet military. When Olga Romanova was 15, she caught his eye, and they began corresponding. On her 16th birthday he gifted her Changa, the Siberian tiger, and their romance intensified.

At the outbreak of the Great War, Viktor was called away into service and went missing. Determined to find him, Olga enlisted and began her search. His whereabouts are currently unknown.

Iron Harvest Lore[edit | edit source]

Viktor is shown to be a Rusviet Vanguard in a squad subordinate to Olga during the attack on St. Petersburg. During the attack most of her subordinates are killed as they attempt to save Tsar Nikolaj during which Janek barely survives; before they separate Olga suggests that he take on the alias Viktor Popov to protect his identity as a Polanian national.

It is unclear if the real Viktor survived the failed coup in St.Petersburg

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • Viktor is present in both Scythe and Iron Harvest whilst with significant changes to lore; it is unclear if he and Olga have a relationship in Iron Harvest though Olga is still able to call Changa and Olga becomes expelled from the Rusviet Army rather than climbing it's ranks to later search for him.
    • Curiously, Janek would take on the pseudonym Viktor Popov as per the suggestion of Olga.
